The BO Competency Center (BO CC) is an integrated full-time, permanent group operating as a service center comprising assets such as multi-skilled people, well defined / standardized process, standard tools and technologies, governing organization which engages and delivers highlyefficient Business Intelligence Information Management services to an enterprise across lines of businesses.

to support changing priorities and efforts Define how BOCC can help to achieve objectives Build a road map that balances the strategic perspective

with more tactical Business Intelligence and InformationManagement requirements

Business Objects support projects scattered in EP Need for technical consultancy for BO customers in EP

globally Requirement of Technical License Management support Requirement of high-level support to EP customers globally

Business Objects Competency Centre (BO CC) is established tocluster all Business Objects support projects in EP.

Migration of application support for applications with a Business

Objects component to the EP Global Support Model. Integrate all technical Business Objects support in a Business

Objects Competence Business Objects Support for EP Applications such as Security,

1st Line Support, 2nd Line support and Consultancy BO CC currently Supports BO Components of other applications BO CC handles Technical License Management for the customer.

These activities includes GI-D consultancy on BO, New BOrelease rollout, Testing compatibilities on BO Products and BOVendor Management.

Integration of Business Objects Support under BOCC hasimproved the quality of the service to the customer, due toenhanced technical expertise and reduced people dependency

BOCC allows customers to avail shared services for support

leading to substantial cost benefits. Consolidation of different BO applications to one, makesdiscipline integration easier
