Patients receiving injections of the drug propofol should be inside the hospital and must be closely observed by a specially trained doctor or nurse while also being monitored with a range of top-of-the-line heart and lung machines.
Michael Jackson was injected with this drug in his bedroom. Murray did not stay with Jackson in the room afterward and he failed to use adequate monitoring equipment.
