Planner's Comments: The subject property is located within a single-family neighborhood and has access from both North 14th Street and North 16'1
Street. The Oxford - Lafayette Heritage Foundation is restoring the L.Q.C. Lamar House, which is on the National Register, and intends to open the house to the public to be used for educational and cultural purposes. The Oxford Historic Preservation Commission and the Site Plan Review Committee has reviewed and approved the proposed renovations. Public parking for the facility will be provided off North 16fa Street. The public parking area was designed to retain existing trees, have low (height) lighting and have the ability to be secured when not in use.
