SummaryThe baseball stadium in Gyeongju Life Sports Park is a baseball stadium for amateur players located in Songok-dong Gyeong-ju The stadium recently installed GigaTerarsquos sports light product SUFA for the National Womenrsquos Baseball Games and the U-12 Na-tional Boysrsquo Baseball Games held at the stadium in 2015SUFA products were installed in compliance with the US NCAA (NCAA amp ESPN) standards The products offered a pleasant light-ing environment during night games which largely contributed to the success of the games held in July 2015

Before the installation of SUFA products the baseball stadium in Gyeongju Life Sports Park had no lighting facility for night games After being entrusted with the management of the park the Gyeongju Baseball Association had been considering metal hal-ide lamps for the baseball games With this the manager of Wonik Semiconductorrsquos sales group in South Korea persuaded the as-sociationrsquos manager to choose SUFA by emphasizing that SUFA products consume 70 less energy than metal halide lights do not require frequent replacement and allow separate adjustment of each lighting columnrsquos brightness using the GeSS control solu-tion provided by GigaTera In the end the association chose SUFA
