Location Auditorium is located near the main entrance of the
college.It is located next to the library that acts as a buffer for
the noise coming from the main road.
Stage Stage is semi circular in the front and it is rectangular
along the waiting area.The stage is 17m long in the centre and 24m
wide.
Seating The seats are raked and staggered for clear view of the
stage.0.9 sq.m area is for one seat.
Shape The plan is fan shaped. With 6 doors.The roof is convex in
shape with recesses for lights.
Ideal AuditoriumSIZE OF THE AUDITORIUM: The number of people in
the audience gives the floor area.For seated spectators,
>0.5m2/spectator.This number results from: seat with*row spacing
0.5*0.9Length of the rows of seats per aisle: 10 places, 25 places
per aisle if an exit door is 1.2 m wide per 200 people. 1% of the
seats for wheelchair users.
Ideal Auditorium AUDITORIUM VOLUMEThis is determined by acoustic
requirements as follows:4-5m3/ spectator for a multi purpose
auditorium.Air volumes must be not less for technical ventilation
reasons, in order to avoid rapid air changes. PROPORTIONS OF THE
AUDITORIUMGood view with moving head, light eye movements of 60
degrees Distance from the farthest row to the start of the stage
should not exceed 24m
