    HOW IS THE CASE METHODSANALYSIS ?

    The trainee is given with some writtenmaterial, and the some complex situationsof a real or imaginary organization. A casestudy may range from 50 to 200 pagesdepending .

    Trainees are given time to digest theinformation. If there is enough time left,

    they are also allowed to collect relevantinformation that supports their solution

    METHODS ANALYSIS ? Once the individuals reach thesolution of a problem, they meet in

    small groups to discuss the options,solutions generated. Here the emphasis is upon that what

    actually happened rather than personalopinion of the facts.

    Then, the trainee meets with thetrainer, who further discusses the case.

    Trainer r asks, in some manner , what is

    the issue or the problem in this case ? After discussion with trainer the

    strongest proposal is chosen ,

    sometimes it becomes apparent thatmore than one decision is best.

    As the cases are based on real life situation theyare interesting to the trainees.

    It helps trainees become aware of observation.Contradictions and uncertainties they encounter

    in their business careers and need the remedialaction.

    Disadvantages

    The cases are that happened already whichmay differ from future situations. Use of already prepared , fictional cases may

    limit the realism of case sitiation.

    Cases become permanent predicates in theminds of trainees who might use themindiscriminately.

    The preparation of case involves a deal oftime and money.
