Clickable Items

You can click on certain items as you explore the movie studio. When youmove your mouse near a clickable object, your cursor will change to aScooby-Doo paw that opens and closes. There are two kinds of clickableitems: some result in fun animations, and others will make the charactersspeak. Hint: Some animations are hidden high above the characters. Scroll upto see if you can find any hidden animations, but like, watch out for theHeadless Stuntman!

Moving Around

To move the gang around the movie studio, move the cursor to the left orthe right of the screen and they will walk in that direction. Moving the cursorfurther right or left makes the gang start running instead. When your cursorchanges to an upward pointing paw, this indicates that you will enter a new

area if you click.

If you try to enter an area and the upward pointed paw has a red glow, it means eitherthat Scooby and Shaggy are too afraid to enter and you need to feed them ScoobySnacks, or that you need to complete an activity or find an item first. If it’s the latter,

then keep exploring and meeting up with suspects. If Scooby and Shaggy are too afraid toenter, Velma will tell you how many Scooby Snacks they need to proceed (see ScoobySnacks). When the upward pointed paw has a green glow, it means that the area is nowopen and you can enter.

Note: Whenever the arrow cursor changes to an open paw, it means there is something toclick on (but not an area to enter).

When you complete an activity for the first time, a clue is revealed. Clues are stored in theCasebook. You can access the Casebook from the Toolbar any time you want to check onyour clues (see Using the Toolbar).

The Casebook allows you to keep track of clues and assign them to the different suspects. Tolearn more about the suspects, click on their photos at the top of the screen to see theirpersonal profiles. By reading their profiles, this will help you determine which clues apply tothem. For example, if you find a martial arts book, see what suspects practice martial arts! Then assign the clue to them.

If the information in the clue is true for a suspect, click the square under that person’s photoand the clue will appear in the square. If you change your mind, just click it again and it willdisappear. You can assign clues to more than one suspect. Only one suspect—the suspectwho is the Headless Stuntman— will have ALL clues assigned to him or her, however.

Reveal the True Identity of the Headless Stuntman! After you complete all the activities and receive your clues, the Mystery, Inc.Casebook prompts you to select the true identity of the Headless Stuntman. Examine theclues and use your powers of deduction. Choose the suspect that you believe ismasquerading as the Headless Stuntman… then see if you’re correct!

Note: The clues change each time you play a game, so this means the culprit changes aswell!
