These machines automatically extracts American style / RSC cases from the magazine, open them, fold the flaps and intermittently drives them into the packing zone aligning with the pick-up device. The machine is supplied with an interchangeable pick-up device, according to product and format required, and can be equipped with a variety of pick-up devices. The Combibox is designed as a bag in box packaging system.

The IWA wraparound case packer is an intermittent motion machine able to pack bottles, jars, cans, boxes or pouches into wraparound style cases. This machine features an individually designed product infeed system to meet customer specific requirements.

General Operation of the Machine

It is a continuous motion packaging system

The packs are overlapping, eliminating the need for interlocking tabs

Designed to be used in conjunction with cardboard sleeves

It has smooth and precise motions

Excellent quality of the final pack

This machine consists of a product infeed and collation section working in conjunction with an indexing tray magazine.

The infeed section pre-groups the product ready for placement on the tray. The combined product and tray is then encased in film and is immediately driven through the shrink tunnel. Heat compresses the film around the product creating a shippable package. The shrink-wrap film can be printed with bar codes to assist warehouse inventory management.

Kockums offers installa-tion, commissioning and operator training. Equipment is fully assembled and tested prior to commissioning by experienced engineers to ensure optimum performance and efficiency.
