Website Look: Compared to Voyager*

We checked Voyager’s site and noted that they

have gone to a format that more closely

resembles Carter’s new format. Which is really

saying something for Carter! I did minimize

some of the text on the page to what Ms. Cooper

and I talked about. If there are further visual

changes, just let me know. *Voyager is paying

attention to Carter.

Staff Bios:

I am preparing the online questionnaire for the

teachers to complete so that you can have

standardized bios from their answers.

Staff may submit a profile photo with their bio

information before submitting their form.

Principal’s Corner: Need an approved photo of

Mrs. Taylor for her page on the website and to

pull in her social media feeds and story highlights.

Staff Training:

Go over the marketing plan that we have

previously discussed, and methods of how the

teachers can get the word out about what is

happening in their classrooms and other school

functions.

New Company: Local or Bust

Socialotus is joining forces with

Local or Bust, a small local business that focuses

on Audience Building and Traffic Conversion

and leveraging Facebook advertising to bring

you more school prospects. I will be releasing

more details about this merger.

What that means for Carter:

We plan to supercharge what Carter is already

doing in terms of Marketing. Carter will receive

the added bonus of your website being

completely optimized for Search Engines,

making it most visible in a keyword search. Most

importantly, this merger will help put Carter on

the 1st page of Google and other search

engines so you can be seen no matter what

search terms a potential parent/guardian is

using.

The Carter Standard:

My partner Norman Crenshaw, and I want to

make Carter Community School the standard

when it comes to marketing and otherwise.
