WINES BY THE GLASS SOMMELIER LUXURY SUGGESTION
WHITE LUXURY GLASS 5 OZ Jermann, Vintage Tunina 2014 30/150
Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Malvasisa, Picolit- Friuli- Italy Jermann Vintage Tunina has a brilliant straw-yellow color with golden highlights. Its aroma is intense, full, with enormous elegance and persistence, and with hints of honey and wild flowers. Its taste is dry, velvety, and very well-orchestrated, with an exceptional persistence due to its particularly full body.
Far Niente 2017 30/150
Chardonnay-Napa Valley, CA
The 2017 Far Niente Chardonnay offers tropical aromas of citrus and melon layered with honeysuckle, perfume and toasted oak. A juicy entry transitions to a vibrant, yet oily, palate, which builds to a clean and refreshing finish. This wine is well integrated and beautifully concentrated, with lush citrus flavors and hints of minerality. Jermann, Dreams 2017 34/160
Chardonnay- Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy
Aromatic notes of lime blossom and oak spice lace flavors of poached apricot, pastry, pineapple and lemon curd in this vibrant, medium- to full-bodied white. Rich and creamy on the lasting finish.

RED LUXURY GLASS 5 OZ
Giodo, Carlo Ferrini 2014 35/150
Sangiovese-Toscana, Italy
Lush cherry and blackberry fruit, leather, spice and tannins that provide zest and tone to this sensational Tuscan red.
Amarone Classico, Costasera, Masi 2013 35/150
Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara-Valpolicella, Italy
Powerful, complex aromas of dried plums, with 'balsamic' (anise, fennel, mint) traces. Quite dry (not sweet), soft and with bright acidity, with baked cherry, chocolate and cinnamon flavors and structured, noble tannins.
Brunello di Montalcino, Madonna Nera 2013 38/160
Sangiovese Grosso-Montalcino, Italy
A gorgeous, fruit-driven wine with superb depth in its plums, dark cherries, herbs and sweet toasted oak. It offers terrific balance in its fruit, structure and acidity.
Nerello Mascalese, Alberelli di Giodo 2016 40/180
Nerello Masacalese -Sicilia, Italy
This is the first vintage of famed Italian wine consultant Carlo Ferrini's own Etna wine, and it is a lovely debut. It has a charming nose of red cherrries, vanilla, spice and white chocolate. A very Burgundian-syle Nerello Mascalese with great purity and precision. Supremely elegant and seductive.
Silver Oak, Alexander Valley 2014 45/220
Cabernet Sauvignon-Napa Valley, California
Fruit, with beams of supporting acidity and tannin that give the wine its sense of proportion. Lavender, sage, menthol, licorice and plums are all given an extra kick of brightness on the finish.

PIEMONTE Dolcetto D’ Alba, Filari Lunghi, Brandini 2017 65 Dolcetto d’Alba- Piemonte, Italy Barbera d’Alba, Pio Cesare 2016 75 Barbera-Alba, Italy BARBARESCO Barbaresco is characterized by its rich, spicy flavors and perfumed sweetness and is considered more
elegant and refined than its counterpart (Barolo), which is a more robust and longer-lived red. Regulations stipulate that Barbaresco must have a minimum alcohol content of 12.5 percent and
undergo two years of aging, one of which must be spent in wooden barrels.
Pio Cesare, Barbaresco 2015 200 Nebbiolo-Barbaresco, Italy BAROLO Barolo is a traditional hillside village in the rolling hills of Piemonte, northwestern Italy. To earn the name Barolo, the wines must undergo at least 38 months’ aging prior to commercial release, of which 18 must be spent in barrel (the remainder in bottle). As the tannins soften over time, the complexity shows through with hints of earth, truffles and dark chocolate.

AUBERT PINOT NOIR Aubert winemaking process is carefully guided by a winemaker with a farmer’s heart and artisan’s soul. The essence of making great wine is rooted in a relationship with the land – it’s about the soil, about growing, about nurturing, about farming. We look to nature for guidance and to science for insight, as we craft wine with minimal intervention, so a sense of place is elegantly reflected in every bottle of Aubert wine. We believe the intellectual pursuit of winemaking has to be of the highest, most profound level of quality.

MARCASSIN VINEYARDS PINOT NOIR Marcassin is a leading Sonoma Coast wine label. The vineyards are planted densely, and fruit is picked very ripe. Pinot Noir is destemmed and cold-soaked. The wine is fermented in tanks using natural yeasts. Aging takes place in new French oak and the wines are aged on their lees. No fining, filtering or cold stabilization is used so wines may throw a fine sediment or tartaric crystals. Usually the wines are aged five years in bottle before release.

KOSTA BROWNE PINOT NOIR Kosta Browne is a Sonoma-based winery specializing in single-vineyard Pinot Noir wines. It was informally founded by Dan Kosta and Michael Browne. The majority of Kosta Browne’s wine is sold to its mailing list, which has a two-year wait time to join, and an even longer period to get access to its most celebrated single-vineyard offerings.

SCARECROW Scarecrow is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from two acres of old vines planted in 1945 by John Daniel and dry farmed. Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with tantalizing notions of violets, lavender, Black Forest cake, mulberries, tobacco leaf and fragrant earth with a core of warm cassis, kirsch, Chinese five spice, rose hip tea and cedar chest. The palate is full-bodied and super concentrated yet possesses great energy with vibrant red and black fruits and loads of mineral accents, framed by very ripe, super fine-grained tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing very long with the most incredible perfume. Hedonistically, undeniably and deliciously perfect.
Scarecrow 2016 2,700 Cabernet Sauvignon-Rutheford, Napa Valley, California
HARLAN ESTATE The philosophy: "This transition zone between the wild terrain of the forest and the open plain of the valley is where we planted the vineyards, built the winery, and established our home. This is the edge of the change, and where we experience the activities of nature the most. I think that much of the character of the wine comes from the fact that the vineyards are carved from—and next to—these wild lands, this forest, and these woodlands. It's a good metaphor for life, as well as for our winegrowing philosophy."
Harlan Estate 2011 1,650 Cabernet Sauvignon-Oakville, California
QUILCEDA CREEK Quilceda Creek is dedicated to world-class Cabernet Sauvignon. Founded in 1978, Quilceda Creek has had an unbroken string of highly-rated vintages that has led Robert Parker Jr. to name it Washington State's premier Cabernet Sauvignon producer. The Columbia Valley's growing seasons are remarkably consistent, but 2005 was exceptional. Summer temperatures were quite warm resulting in extremely small berry size, and then the heat backed off just enough in September to ripen the grapes without rushing physiological maturity. The results are deeply colored, beautifully balanced wines with tremendously dense, ripe aromas and flavors.
