Carpoolers on I-25 need new pass

CDOT wants to alert drivers to changes for carpoolers, thanks to the new tolls on U.S. 36.

The carpool requirements changed on the I-25 express lanes on July 22. Drivers on both highwaysmust now get the new switchable pass to travel in the Express Lanes for free as a carpool.

The pass will indicate HOV status so drivers can avoid a charge. It can be used on all state ExpressLanes.

CDOT says the testing period is over.

To get a pass, click here. It will take three to five business days for the pass to arrive. Drivers canpick one up in person at ExpressToll Service Center, 22470 E. 6th Parkway, Suite 110, Aurora.
