at LIONS WHYALLA “CAROLS IN THE PARK” 2016
Being a member of the Carols Community Choir is EASY and FUN! Read on to find out how YOU can be part of this
amazing community experience in 2016! We have a few performance opportunities at Christmas – however the only one
you are obliged to commit to is LIONS “CAROLS IN THE PARK” on SUNDAY DECEMBER 11TH 2016 – the others are optional (but still lots of fun!). If you are a member of the CCC – you also have the option of joining the GLITTERBUGS - a Christmas dance troupe who will perform a very special routine on stage on the night. Below are a few simple requirements in order to join this amazing crew and do your part for the Community of Whyalla!
Fill out and return the slip attached by Monday November 7th 2016.
Collect a Songbook and CD when they are ready and practice at home.
Attend a full-cast rehearsal. These are usually on a Sunday afternoon after 2pm – more details soon!
Have a uniform of black pants and some Christmas accessories (Santa Hat etc..). If you are able to provide your own Christmas T-Shirt in RED, WHITE or GREEN that’s great too (but we do have a few for you to borrow if you can’t source your own).
Attend CAROLS IN THE PARK in it’s entirety on Sunday December 11th at Civic Park (starts at 7.15pm)
SING LOUD AND PROUD and HAVE FUN! It doesn't matter if you're 5, 15 or 55! It doesn't even matter if you're not the best singer....so long as you have a great attitude and want to do your bit for our town spreading Peace and Goodwill! Donating a couple of hours of your time to help spread cheer is EASY! See the next page for your application form.....
