The new Cargotrail SSPL floor frame
Developing an universal and also light flatbed-/curtainsider-body similar to the successful Cargotrail SSP3 kit - that was the first item in the Cargotrail SSPL performance specification.SSPL – Steel-Screwing-Flatbed Light. The new Cargotrail steel floorframe reflects his very special feature already in its name: Light.
The consequent lightweight construction of the Cargotrail SSPL is shown through its attributes and options:• Subframe, end floor frame front/back and outer frame made of high-strength steel• Many floor frame components manufactured from 2/2.5 mm metal sheets, reinforcement by beadings• All floor frame steel parts are at least zinc plated or hot-dip galvanised• Crossmember and floor frame with zinc-aluminium-magnesium coating - this special corrosion protection
is considered to be 10 times more durable than a conventional galvanisation• Floor lowering 18 mm, for phenolic plywood board or the new aluminium floor profile 641186• Tailboards of flatbed bodies with high quality steel side board hinge 215112045• Corner pillars and centre pillars of the flatbed body and the rear portal frame of the curtainsider body made
of aluminium• One-piece aluminium tailboards in the lower size
The SSPL floor frame can be used in the Cargotrail range for trucks up to 12 t perm. GVW with bodywork types platform, flatbed and curtainsider. Optionally available with certification DIN EN 12642 Code XL for payload up to 8000 kg.

Weight comparison with the 3 Cargotrail variations1In comparison the new Cargotrail SSPL floor assembly is hardly heavier than the aluminium floor assembly Cargotrail ASP1. The new developed floor assembly Cargotrail SSPL has a weight advantage of 60.7% compared to the steel floor assembly Cargotrail SSP3.

The new floor frame profile 605646901 made of 2 mm high-strength steel, with this special corrosion protection zink-aluminium-magnesium coating. The lashing strap 295131888 (1000 daN) can be completely counterbored into the V-goove. There are up to 46 lashing strap positions at interval of 156 mm each long side of the body (body length 7700 mm) by using the hole plan.

In all Cargotrail SSPL flatbed bodies our focus relied on the Blueline pillar system.
Sleek designed in a light aluminium body and in combination with the Cargotrail SSPL flatbed body certified to DIN EN 12642 Code XL.
