Catherine Byers Breet -- NOW WHAT? HOW TO STEP INTO ACTIONYou’rereadytohitthestreets!You’vegotacleartargetandastrategy.Nothingcanstopyoufromgettingyourdreamjob!Unfortunately,thatisnotentirelytrue.Ifyouarelikemostpeople,youwillfacesomeunexpectedchallenges,andmanyofthemwillbeinyourownhead.JOINCatherineByersBreet(yourwebinarinstructor)liveforthisfast-pacedandempoweringsessionon 1.Howtoavoidthebiggestbarrierstojobsearchsuccess 2.Howtocreateanactionplanthatwillworkforyou
When she was little, Catherine Byers Breet wanted to be a National Geographic Photographer. When that didn’t work out, she married a guy from South Africa, got a pet zebra named “Joe” and started a company named “ARBEZ.” With a shared vision for helping individuals succeed in their careers, Normandale was pleased to partner with ARBEZ™ in 2010. Since then, Catherine and ARBEZ have been providing the Normandale community with cutting-edge career strategy education through online and
classroom courses and workshops. Since 1997, Catherine has been closing the gap between employers and job seekers. From ExpressScripts, MoneyGram International and UnitedHealth Group to start-ups, she knows how to hire right the first time. For instance, as Director of Recruiting for Spherion, she reduced first-year turnover from 46% to 20%. After landing herself a toxic job in 2004, her passion for helping job seekers turned into a bit of an obsession. With the average American changing jobs every 2.4 years, she saw a tremendous need for a tool to help people take charge of their careers. The answer? An inspiring and empowering online Job Hunt Coaching System (an A to Z online video coaching system) that shows people how to get the job that’s right for them – faster and easier. Since its launch, it has helped over 5,000 people break through the barriers to get the jobs they want.
Today, Catherine is a business owner, career strategist, speaker, author, curriculum developer and stripe changer. She has been quoted by the Associated Press, Star Tribune, American Way magazine, Campus Career Counselor and has been a guest on radio, WCCO and Fox 9 television. Catherine is also the proud mom of two small boys, a SCUBA diver, world traveler and recovering job hunter.
