CAREER EXPOSURE AND GUIDANCE PROGRAM CELEBRATION Many high school graduates lack exposure to learning that link their work in school to college and careers—especially in the critically important fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, the very reason why the government crafted ways and means to expose children to the types of work - and career- they’re inclined to. In lieu of this, a “Career Exposure and Guidance Program “ was celebrated last August 14-15,2015 at Lala National High School Campus with its highlight “Search for Mr.and Ms. Top Career Model 2014. The celebration was opened by a parade wherein students from Grade 7 to fourth year paraded with their colorful future career uniforms, all teachers joined the parade with the active partaking of the Head of school himself, Mr.Oscar S. Dolorin, and the Guidance Advocate Mrs.MyrlaD.Lumacang.They were joyfully joinedin by the invited guests who acted as the judges of the morning’s search. After which, a program followed at the LNHS ground much to the enjoyment of the students and some spectators from the barangay itself. Crowned Mr.and Ms. Career Top Models were from Grade 7-Orchids and fourth year –Rosal, respectively. Day 2 was composed of lectures from varied lecturers of the day; assigned lecturers in the morning were the values education teachers Mrs. VilmaDumayaca, Mr. Vicente S. Luzon, MrsHeddyH.Labidon and the guidance advocate Mrs. Myrla D. Lumacang. In the afternoon session invited guest lecturers were Virly Benitez, Administrative Officer of J.H.CerillesCollege,Ms.MichilleAlbios,Dean of International College of Phil South and Mr. JuremeSaragena, a preacher, who talked on moral recovery. The students were overjoyed and full of blessings after the one day seminar with the lecturers who graciously shared their time and efforts for free.

With God’s grace and blessings the affair was a very successful one. Thanks for the cooperation

of all teachers of Lala National High School and the support of the SSG officers who braved wind and

thunder just to make the program a successful one.
