Nick GormanEngineering Design Graphics Associate DegreeRegional Outreach Coordinator, NASA/The South Carolina Space Grant ConsortiumDesign Engineer, Scientic Research CorporationResearch Fellow, NASAPrincipal Investigator, NASA, Academic Mission to Enceladus“My time at Trident Technical College taught me few undeniable things that I carry with me every day. You can be anything you want to be no matter how hard your past was because today is when you make your mark, not yesterday. I also learned that not even the sky is the limit when you believe in yourself and follow your dreams. And last but not least, don’t ever give up on yourself; you’re more amazing than you think.”
Natalie BristowAssociate in Arts, Transfer Student, College of Charleston “I decided to major in the Associate in Arts program because my credits would transfer to another university and I wanted to get my pre-reqs out of the way. While at Trident Tech, I received the LIFE scholarship, combined with a Trident Technical College scholarship, and that paid for my tuition completely. Since being at Trident Technical College, I’ve really come out of my shell. It’s helped me reach my full potential and realize I can do anything I put my mind to.”
Jaclynn WoodsAdministrative Oce Technology Associate DegreeEmployee, Berkeley County School District“Trident has really represented a second chance for me…I didn’t think I had it in me to go to college or to complete classes I’ve completed. I never thought I would understand math, and now I do really well in it, so I think it’s given me a lot of condence. To people who don’t feel that they would do well in college, I say give it a try because if I can do it, anybody can do it. Being a student showed me what I’m capable of.”
Antwan GadsdenPhysical Therapist Assistant Associate DegreePhysical Therapist Assistant, Roper St. Francis“The biggest impact on me from my time at Trident was dedication, commitment and consistency. I learned to put the time in and to have a good work ethic.”
Andrea UpchurchCulinary Arts Technology Associate DegreeExecutive Pastry Chef, Magnolias and Blossom“As a graduate, I’m most grateful for leadership, value and hands-on training. I got the training and condence to be a leader in my eld today.”
