CARE AND COUNSELING 2019 ANNUAL REPORT

OUR MISSION Care and Counseling enhances emotional, relational and spiritual well-being. We do this through exceptional quality and accessible counseling, professional training and community education.

We serve the most influential as well as some of the most vulnerable citizens in our community.

We welcome clients from all faiths, as well as those with no faith affiliation. We respect faith heritage and religious practices and incorporate a client’s faith into treatment when requested.

We have specialized services to provide professional training, support and resources for faith communities and their leaders.

We are committed to providing high quality services to all who seek them, including those who have financial constraints.

2019 was our most impactful year to date. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the tireless efforts of our devoted clinical and administrative staff, we were able to affect the lives of even more individuals, couples and families in the greater St. Louis community than in 2018.

PLANNED GIVINGWe established the Legacy Society for individuals who have included Care and Counseling in their will, estate or have agreed to leave other assets to help sustain our efforts for years to come.

On September 25, we honored the founding members of the Legacy Society with a reception at the St. Louis Club.

We also received our first realized planned gift.

HERE COMES THE SUN GALAOn May 4, 2019 we held our annual benefit, the Sunrise Gala. With the help of our generous supporters, we raised more than $85,000 in net proceeds to help make therapy sessions possible for those in the St. Louis community who could not otherwise afford them.
