CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2019-2020
FELLOWS
Name & Credentials: Rohan S. Trivedi, D.O.
Bio: I was born in Ahmedabad, India, but grew up in Long Island, New York. I graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in biomedical engineering and I received my medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine – Bradenton Campus. I completed my residency training from Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where I became deeply passionate about the field of cardiology. My clinical interest remains in the field of general cardiology and heart failure. I have performed research in heart failure,
electrophysiology and cardiac imaging and look to continue pursuing research in these fields during fellowship. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, bicycling, and amateur photography.
Name & Credentials: Sunil Pathak, M.D.
Bio: I am an international medical graduate. I was awarded scholarship by the government of Nepal to attend medical school and I came to the United States to fulfill my dream of becoming a physician in the best healthcare system of the world. Fortunately, I got matched into Marshfield Medical Center, Wisconsin.
Coming from a family with a strong history of premature coronary artery disease, I got fascinated to cardiology early on. What grew my passion more was the fact that I could make meaningful differences in my patients’ lives with my acquired knowledge and skills.
My program director told me about HonorHealth in the beginning of May this year. As I had received by Employment Authorization Document few weeks back,
it was a great opportunity for me to start fellowship without waiting for a year. I applied, interviewed and here I am writing a small biography as I start my fellowship in September.
