This is a meditative deep relaxation class. As the body starts to relax, the mind follows. This relaxed state is both healing and strengthening. It has been said that 1 hour of Yoga Nidra is as restful as 4 hours of sleep. Yoga Nidra is often translated as conscious sleep. Come and experience this peaceful relaxation and learn how to continue this yoga at home.

This meditation will be done in a reclining position. Please bring a yoga mat or towel to lay on and something to put under your knees if you have back issues. Please wear comfortable clothing.

YOGA NIDRA MEDITATION CLASS

In 2007, I was introduced to hot yoga; after my first class, I knew my future was born. I had finally found what I had been searching for my entire life. This type of yoga was healing, peaceful, rewarding and life-changing. I could now ultimately see myself doing something that would help others achieve radiant health and allow me to operate my own successful business. I became a certified Bikram Yoga Teacher in the fall of 2009 and currently own Clarkston Hot Yoga & Fitness Studio in Clarkston, MI. Susan Stencil
