• Cardiovascular System- system of heart and blood vessels working together

• Heart- pumps the blood throughout the body • Lungs- helps you breathe in oxygen and exhale

carbon dioxide• Oxygen- a gas that you inhale that the blood

The heart pumps blood all over the body. When you exercise, the heart beats faster to pump blood to the muscles. When you sleep, the heart slows down. This is so the heart and body can rest.

Asthma• Asthma is a condition that keeps people from

breathing well. It is not contagious so you can not catch it from someone that has it.

• When someone has asthma, they can have an asthma attack when they exercise. An inhaler can be used to help them breathe easier.
