Rinse™ Wash & Wax or Car Wash on a bi-weekly basis to avoid excessive contamination build up.

Ÿ Avoid washing in direct sunlight to minimize streaking and water spotting.

Difference between Opti Gloss Coat & OptiCoat Pro

ULTIMATE PROTECTION FOR AUTOMOTIVE SURFACES

OptiCoat Pro offers more protection against a more varied array of chemicals and contaminants and is a much more concentrated formula. The pre -polymer resin used to create OptiCoat Pro is also more expensive to manufacture. OptiCoat Pro also ships with a special Primer Polish that prepares the surface for the coating and is not available to non-pros. Opti Gloss Coat is mainly chosen by people who want more Shine as Compared to more of protection through OptiCoat Pro.

Neither will "wear" away from washing or with the passing of time. Both would need to be

abraded or have a paint remover used on them to be removed. Due to the concentration OptiCoat Pro will be much thicker which can take more damage without penetrating the paint system. Both have their merits....OptiCoat Pro is the Ultimate protection and Opti Gloss Coat is for the price conscious or the enthusiast. And the look of both can be tuned by topping with any wax or sealant if so desired.

What is this Opti Coat made from?Among other ingredients, OptiCoat is based on a material called Carborundum. It is one of the hardest materials in existence, and used to manufacture other products such as ceramic disc brakes and plates in bullet proof vests.

How OptiCoat works?OptiCoat works by bonding to your factory clear coating and becoming a permanent part of your vehicles paint system. Just like the clear coat bonds to the base coat, OptiCoat bonds chemically to the clear coat.

The Optimum Clear Coating is mostly self levelling. Any high spots are manually leveled by the technician to produce an even coat. Once complete, the surface is touch dry within 30 minutes.

The Optimum Clear Coating continues to cross-link and harden. Within 12 hours it is resistant to liquids such as water and can be driven as normal by the client. OptiCoat will then continue to harden over the next 30 days as it is exposed to heat.

Can I polish OptiCoat?Yes you can! Unlike other products that will void your warranty, periodic polishing of OptiCoat will actually improve it by removing any embedded contamination. Use only non abrasive polishes. If you are unsure about your polish, speak with your dealer or contact us before using it.

Opti-coat is a hard wearing, aftermarket, ceramic clear coat for superior resistance to scratching (9H) and chemical etching from environmental impacts. Opti-coat provides permanent protection for all factory paints, and can also be applied to exterior glass, metal and hard plastic surfaces.

Opti-Coat is not a wax or sealant like other products on the market. It is a ceramic clear coating very similar to factory type clear coats. A layer of Opti-Coat measures approx. 2 microns in thickness, or about 100 times thicker than your typical wax or sealant. Unlike paint protection sealants such as PTFE, Nano Sealants, GlassPlexin that degrade over time and are easily removed through washing with water or chemicals,

Opti-Coat does not degrade and cannot be removed by chemicals or even caustic degreasers. It is totally resistant to these chemicals and produces a permanent film that is chemically bonded with the factory paint layers. Opti-Coat is effectively the vehicles new outer clear coat. The 2 micron layer also provides a thick buffer between any damage and the factory paintwork.
