Full informaon is provided in the policy documentaon. What is this type of insurance? All motorists are required, by law, to insure their cars in order to drive them on roads and in public places. Car insurance meets this requirement and provides financial protecon in the event of an incident which causes damage or injury. The level of protecon provided will depend on the cover you select. We will repair the damage or replace what is lost or stolen or we will pay you a cash amount equal to the cost of the loss or damage. There is unlimited cover for accessories that have been fied by your cars’ manufacturer or an approved dealer. Cover extends for the policyholder or any person entled to drive, to use the car in any EU country and those countries following EU direcves. If your windscreen or window glass is broken, we will repair or replace it or if it is uneconomical to do either, we will pay up to the market value of the car. Child seat cover- We will pay up to £100 for a replacement following an accident even if there is no visible damage. Personal Accident cover for you, your spouse, civil partner and named drivers whilst in or geng into or out of your car. We will pay up to £10,000 for any one incident, specific benefits are detailed in the policy. Medical expenses - We will pay up to £250 towards emergency medical expenses if you or anyone in your car is injured in an accident. Personal belongings - We will cover personal belongings (up to £150) which are lost or damaged in your car. Uninsured driver promise - If you are involved in an accident and hit by an uninsured driver, you won’t lose your no claims discount and you will not have to pay an excess. Overnight accommodaon and onwards transport - If you are unable to connue your journey following an accident we will pay for you and all of your passengers to get home or to your desnaon safely. Any accident, injury, loss or damage while any vehicle is being used for purposes not described on your cerficate of motor insurance, or while being driven by somebody not permied to drive (or not having a correct or valid driving licence). Any incident as a result of war or terrorism- except where cover must be provided under Road Traffic Acts. Modificaons to your car that you haven’t told us about Loss or damage if your vehicle is leſt with the ignion keys or the engine leſt running. Damage arising from wear and tear, electrical and mechanical breakdown, or gradual deterioraon. Loss of value following repair. If any of your car’s safety features are disabled or turned off at the me of the accident. Any consequences as a result of polluon, ionising radiaon or radioacve contaminaon. Any consequences as a result of carrying more passengers than you are safely or legally allowed to. Towing a trailer which is unsafe or has an unsecured load. Damage or loss whilst the driver was unfit due to alcohol or drugs. Cover for driving other cars is restricted to the UK and is only available if shown on the cerficate of motor insurance. Cover is limited to third party only. If you fit new in-car entertainment equipment (such as stereos and sat navs) in your car which are not on your manufacturer’s list, you are only covered for the cost of replacing the manufacturer fied equipment. Your policy excesses as shown on your schedule. Addional excesses apply for drivers under 25 years. Claims may be reduced or rejected if we find the informaon you gave us was incorrect or incomplete. Damage to other people’s property (up to £20 million), and compensaon for other people’s death or injury (unlimited), if you are at fault. The policyholder may have third party only cover for driving other cars, check your cerficate of motor insurance to see if this is applicable.

How do I cancel the contract?

• Great Britain and Northern Ireland.• When driving in EU countries and those following EU Directives, you’ll have the same level of cover as you have in the UK for up to 90

days per trip provided your permanent home is in the UK and your visit to such countries is temporary.

• At the start of the policy you must give complete and accurate answers to any questions we may ask you.• You must let us know if your circumstances change either before your policy starts or during the period of insurance. This includes if you

change your car, the registered keeper, main driver, or want to add an additional driver, change of use, change of occupation, change of address or changes which improve its value, appearance, performance or handling.

• Premiums must be paid on time.• You should ensure that your car is kept in a roadworthy condition, has a valid MOT if one is needed by law and all tyres are kept within

the legal requirements at all times• If we’ve stated that you must have a working tracking device (shown on your schedule) this must always be on and working when your

car is left unattended. Keys or ignition devices must also be removed, windows and sun-roofs closed and all doors locked.• If you need to make a claim you must provide us with full details as soon as possible.• Take reasonable steps to protect your car from loss or damage.• Do not mislead us or the insurer in any way and don’t act in a fraudulent manner.

The premium for this annual policy may be paid in one single amount or, if offered, by monthly instalments. If you pay monthly, a credit charge will apply.

The policy is for a period of one year and is renewable each year. Your policy start and end dates will be confirmed in your policy documents.

If you decide that, for any reason, this policy does not meet your insurance needs, you may cancel it at any time by letting us know. Call our customer service team on: 0344 335 5555.

If you inform us:

• Within 14 days of receiving your documents – we’ll refund any money you’ve paid, less a charge for the cover you’ve had. If you cancel before your policy starts, no charges will be made.

• After 14 days, if you’ve not made a claim, we’ll refund any money you’ve paid, less a charge for the cover you’ve had. • If you renew but then decide to cancel, as long as you tell us before the renewal date we’ll refund what you’ve paid in full. If you cancel

after your renewal date has passed you will be charged in line with cancellation rules above.
