WALK - IN - INTERVIEW

Applications are invited for engagement of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under the Project entitled "Development of protocols for shelf life, safe storage, milling outcomes and indicating norms for procurement of major pulses" at !CAR-Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana, Punjab. The appointments will be made purely temporary under contractual and co-terminus basis, following the prescribed procedure for six months or till the completion date of the project. The appointments may be terminated at any time without notice or assigning any reason thereof. The candidates possessing required qualifications given below may appear before selection committee at Committee Room, ICAR- Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology (CIPHET), PO: PAU, Ludhiana-141004 (Punjab).

a) Essential

Master degree in Processing and Food Engineering/Agricultural Structures and Process Engineering/Food Technology I Food Science and Technology or equivalent with 4/5 years of bachelors' degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in basic sciences with three years bachelor degree or 3 year bachelor' s degree in above discipline and 2 years Master's degree should be NET qualified.

b) Desirable Published research papers, Research experience, experience m teaching NET/GA TE qualified.

Rs. 31,000/- + HRA consolidated per month

35 years( with relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC and Women as per existing rules)

Terms and Conditions:

i) The above positions are purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. ii) There is no provision for absorption/ re-employment in ICAR after completion of time bound

project. iii) Place of work will be ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana, however, the candidate may be placed

anywhere in India depending upon requirement of the project. iv) No TA I DA will be paid for attending the interview v) The applicants must bring with them original documents and a brief ofresearch work carried

out during post graduation I Ph.D. along with one set of photocopy at the time of interview. vi) No objection certificate from the employer in case he I she is employed elsewhere. vii) Experience certificate in original (if any) viii) No separate interview call will be issued to candidates. ix) All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before scheduled time on the

date oflnterview for necessary formalities. x) Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the post. xi) The Director, ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana's decision will be final and binding in all respects.
