Capture Perfect Scanning

Remove all staples and paperclips

Dual Camera ScannerB&W Scanning – 50 ppm duplexColor Scanning – 16 ppm duplex

Choose Black and White mode

Never choose OCR

Scanner Setup

Black and White is Standard

Scanning to a File

Choose Scan Batch to File .

In the Save In: box, navigate to the your save location

Give the document a File Name

Choose type: Save as PDF

You can check your scanner settings here

Make sure MultiPage Settings is set to All Pages

Click Save

Scanning to Email

Click on the envelope icon

Give the file a name

Choose PDF as your file type

You can check your settings by clicking on Scanner Settings

Multipage settings should be set to All Pages

Click OK and your document will show up as an attachment in a new email.

Troubleshooting

Capture Perfect doesn’t recognize scanner – turn scanner off, unplug the power and USB cables, wait 10 seconds, plug in and turn on.

Scanning slow? Make sure you are set for Black and White and No OCR

Documents don’t feed properly – Fan the paper to decrease sticking; clean the rollers with a damp cloth, then dry with another cloth

Image skewed? – Be sure to use the document guides when scanning
