New 7-8 Building

New 7-8 BuildingDEI investigated design changes to reduce construction. Board directed final decision on pool, auditorium, etc in Feb. Architect adjusted floorplan for addl efficiencies.

Design team performed final evaluation of bid document preparation and anticipated the schedule for receipt of the municipal and regulatory approvals required to bid the project. There are no guarantees.

Anticipated bid documents release in first week of June. Recommend 6 week bid period.

Need to coordinate Board action dates for end of July/early August.

Bid documents will include alternate option for completion by original 8/09 completion date or 11/09.
