The Luxivair SBD Team recently hosted a family-friendly movie night—and it was a huge success! The event was designed to give local pilots a sense of community normalcy during this unprecedented time. Imagine snacking on popcorn, laughing with friends and family and enjoying classic fan-favorite movies Airplane andAirplane and Top Gun.

Over the past yeaOver the past year, CJC has seen a significant increase in military traffic, presenting the need for a new fuel truck fleet. EPIC Fuels worked closely with Skymark Refuelers to acquire the new refuelers. This new fleet increases their total truck capacity from 15,000 total gallons to 24,000 total gallons!

These new refuelers were built to EPIC and These new refuelers were built to EPIC and Signature Flight Support’s specifications with input from CJC. Skymark completed the trucks, coordinated the delivery and had a technician on site to put them into service.

Since newer vehicles typically get more miles per gallon, this upgrade can significantly slash a fleet’s fuel expenditures. Newer vehicles may also offer alternative fuel options—such as electric or hybrid.

These advances help reduce risk, protect drivers, and keep them feeling safe and secure. Drivers appreciate being behind the wheel of a newer, more efficient, and more comfortable vehicle. EPIC’s Risk Management Specialist was also on-site for 2.5 days to provide additional training on-site for 2.5 days to provide additional training to all line service personnel on how to use the new equipment.

With all of these considerations, CJC has been able to optimize their upgrade expenses by minimizing repair and maintenance costs over time.
