    Comments on Responses to Question 2

    Candidate g a good interpretation of the question. All important sociologicalconcepts were used and well explained.

    2 Candidate has a good understanding of the Maithusian theory and was able tosuccessfully extract the relevant arguments and apply them to A Large families and B Development issues.

    3 The development issues identified were reflective of the Caribbean society. Thecandidate was able to sufficiently explain them.

    4 Candidate had good analytical skills, synthesis was clear and concise and evaluationefforts were commendable.
