•SET UP

Custom Set up from LCD Display

• Place Transmitter or flash in hot shoe, turn on

• 1st Go to Menu1 • 2nd Choose External Speedlite Control • Press> Flash Function Setting• Press> Set up All settings from here

• Set it up there then register over to My Menu

• ID number #

Must be Uniqueand set to all units.

Once you set it you are set for good.

Setting will persist even if the batteries

are removed.

Channels: 1-15

In Radio you can set up to 15 flash units to flash

In Infrared you can set us as many as you like.

Master is Green and Slave is Amber

The Canon EXRT 600 Flash unites and the STE3 can be set to Radio or Infrared.

The Canon EX 580 Flashes and all earlier ETTL models can be triggered using either the EXRT 600 flash units or the STE3 Transmitter,however, earlier triggers such as the STE-2 can not fire the radio models.

• High Speed Shutter Sync

Under LCD PANEL look for the 4 similar white buttons

1,2,3,4

Flip from menu/page 3 for infrared and menu 4 for Radio

must be in Connection method

Master.

PressSync to get to High Shutter sync.

Hi Speed Shutter Sync can be set and left in place.

The Flash power drops off significantly when higher shutter speeds are used.

The camera’s flash sync speed will not be effected.

Once you set the master unit then you have to set the slave

In Gr mode,we set up the Master unit, you will notice on page 1 or menu 1 you will see Gr.

 Press GR and it will light up. 

Press the set button and the power slider will light up enabling you to use the dial for plus or minus in 1/3 increments.

Save to memory and assign to each slave.

• Power settings can all be set up and down in concert.

Use the Canon EXRT 600 as a transceiver to fire a camera remotely.

1.The master unit must be on the camera you wish to shoot with.

2. To trigger the camera, the firing flash should be set up and positioned off camera.3. Option, the master transceiver on the camera flash can be set to

not fire or use the STE3 Remote to receive the signal.

Set the rest to default.

• 00-Distance set to 1.

• 01- Auto Power off, keeps unit from turning itself off. Also set Camera so it does not go to sleep.

• 04-Set to 1. Flash exposure bracketing. Set to darker, medium and lighter.

07-Test firing Auto set to 1. If you never intend to use an external

battery then leave it at 0.

If you do then leave it set to 1 for a full power dump.

For big shoots you may want to confirm the battery is connected and indeed

doing it’s full job.

12-Set to 1.

Flash Recycle.If you never intend to use an external battery

or power source with your flash units then go with the

default setting.

If you use and external battery then set it to 1.

You will be separately distributing the power of recharging.

The each and every shot will be assigned to the external battery.

13- Set to 1.

Flash Exposure Compensation DialInstant access to the +/- over and under

exposure settingsfor one step controls.

• 20- Set to 1.

• Beep confirmation signal.

• 21- Default.
