We are a family oriented club that is happy to cater for anyone who is
able to safely participate in the sport. Our inclusive membership style
means that overall costs are kept low enough that no-one is excluded
based on the cost of participation.
In terms of facilities we are lucky enough to be located next to four main
canoeing opportunities: the grand union canal, Bury lake at the
Aquadrome, the river Colne and our canoe polo training facility. Built
and opened by club members in 1994 the canoe polo pitch has long
been envied by other South-East based clubs. From this facility we are
able to maintain and develop six canoe polo squads and also use the
sheltered nature of its location for recreational training.
Many of our more experienced paddlers arrange trips to places like
Holme Pierrepoint, the Dart and the Tryweryn in Wales, if you join us
you will receive full details of all the clubs trips and events.
