ABOUT NCCA PAC

The mission of the National Child Care Association Political Action Committee(NCCA PAC) is to provide financial support to candidates for federal electoraloffice who are supportive of the licensed, private center-based early care and education community. NCCA PAC strengthens NCCA's voice in the public policyarena and ensure our positions get a fair hearing.

WHAT IS NCCA PAC?The mission of the National Child Care Association Political Action Committee(NCCA PAC) is to provide financial support to candidates for federal electoraloffice who are supportive of the licensed, private center-based early care and education community.

WHO MAY CONTRIBUTE TO NCCA PAC?Only members of NCCA and NCCA state affiliates are eligible to make contribu-tions to NCCA PAC. All contributions are voluntary and made from personalfunds. NCCA PAC will not favor or disadvantage anyone by reason of the amountof their contribution or their decision not to contribute. Federal law permits onlyU.S. citizens or permanent legal residents to participate in NCCA PAC. NCCA PACis also required to obtain prior approval from NCCA members before requesting acontribution.

WHY CONTRIBUTE?It is imperative that licensed, private providers of center-based care join togetherto ensure the private sector has a voice in public policy debates concerning earlycare and education. NCCA PAC is your voice in the electoral process. Your contribution to NCCA PAC may be combined with others to provide substantialfinancial support to candidates, thereby giving a unified and powerful voice to private providers. NCCA PAC also provides an opportunity to participate in theonly PAC in the nation that reflects the views of the private provider community.

WHO RECEIVES NCCA PAC SUPPORT?NCCA PAC contributes to candidates for federal elective office who demonstrateinterest in and support for licensed, private providers of center based care. TheNCCA PAC Board of Advisors votes on candidates who meet NCCA PAC's candidate selection criteria.

HOW DO I DONATE AND HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE?To donate to the NCCA PAC, simply fill out the accompanying paper work thatcame with this brochure or contact NCCA PAC directly to request an approvaland/or contribution form at 202-367-1133. Any contribution, regardless of size,is enormously helpful and makes a big difference.

Treating patients with urogynecologic disorders can be challenging. It is important for physicians and health care professionals to discuss options with theirpatients, particularly new techniques and developments in the surgical and non-surgicalsettings. Content for the AUGS 28th Annual Scientific Meeting was selected based on extensive input from the Program Committee, Abstracts Review Committee and past attendee evaluations. This meeting focuses on such topics as the causes and treatmentof incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction and pelvic organ prolapse.

Education Program ObjectivesAnnual meeting attendees will:

Discuss the pathophysiology of pelvic floor disorders, including urinaryincontinence, fecal incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.Describe diagnostic methods and techniques used in the evaluation of pelvic floor dysfunction.Identify non-surgical treatments used to treat pelvic floor disorders.Explain surgical treatments for pelvic floor disorders and critique strengths and limitations of newer treatments or modifications.

PhysiciansAUGS is approved by XXX to provide continuing medical education for physicians. XXXX designates this activity for a maximum of XXXX credit hours in Category 1 of the

Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA) of the American Medical Association (AMA). Physicians attending educational programs during the AUGS 28th Annual ScientificMeeting are awarded Category 1 credit on anhour-for-hour basis. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit actually spent in educational sessions.

Attendance at other annual meeting educational activities such as poster presentations and exhibits, may be eligible for Category 2 credit. Category 2 credit is self-documented and can be claimed for physician-directed activities. To obtainCategory 2 credit, physicians must apply to the AMA PRA department. NursesVirginia: AUGS is approved by XXXX, Provider Number XXX, as a provider of continuing nursing education programs. AUGS designatesthis event for a maximum of XXX contacthours.
