OSM Accelerant Parent Info Meeting is TONIGHT after youth service. This meeting is for any parents that have questions about the Accelerant 2015 trip in January.
Membership Sunday is next week, November 2. Please contact the church office at 803-957-2221 and let us know if you are interested in joining the LSWC family.
Two-Edged Sword is Sunday, November 2 at 6:00 pm. Come out and support our speakers, Elbert Williams and John Knorr. Your input is important.
Missions Ministry Yard Sale is Saturday, November 8 at 7:00 am in the Fellowship Center. Donation items may be placed on the tables in the MM Building off the back parking lot. If you have items to donate please contact Rhonda Bauer or Miranda Gardner. Volunteers are needed to set up and price on Thursday & Friday prior to the sale.
Child/Baby Dedication Sunday is November 9. Please sign up at Guest Services and email a picture of your child to [email protected] by Wednesday, November 5.
180 Street Ministries Evangelism Training Classes start Sunday, November 2 at 9:00 am in room 24. Come and join us for a 4 week Witnessing Boot Camp during LifeStudies. We will show you how to be bold and effective in sharing your faith. Our Community Outreach will take place Saturday, November 8. All are invited for praise and prayer at 9:00 am in the Worship Center. Afterwards, join them as they will hit the streets.
The Stand is an event for Pastors and Church Members to declare their stand on life, traditional marriage, religious liberty and more. All are invited to attend Saturday, November 8 from 2-3 pm at the SC State House steps. Believer’s Water Baptism is Sunday, November 16. All those ready to take this next step as a follower of Christ are asked to sign up at Guest Services.
WFA JR Dance Practice begins Sunday, November 16 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. If your 8 to 12 year old Boy or Girl is interested in worshiping God through dance, please bring them to this practice. We are beginning to discuss Talent Quest, so this is a perfect time to start. Please contact Tina Esbensen for more details at 803-319-3884.
Celebration Choir Christmas Presentation is Sunday, December 14 AM & PM. The Jr. and Teen Choirs will take part in it and rehearsals have been scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 9, 16, 30, & Dec. 7. The Jr. Choir members, age 3-12, will meet in room 10 at 6:30 pm. An adult is requested to accompany all 3 & 4 year olds. The Teen Choir members, ages 13 – 18, will meet in room 10 immediately following Outpour or at 7:30 pm. For more information contact Alesia Shaw.
