Changing Colors:

You will be changing yarn colors several times. Do do this, change yarn color in

the last step of the last st of the old color. For example, at the last st of the last

orange row – yarn over, insert hook into last st, pull up loop, drop orange, yarn

over with yellow and pull through all loops on hook. Your yarn change is

complete.

Bow

With Orange Ch 11

R1: hdc in second ch from hook and each ch across, turn (10 hdc – each row

will have 10 hdc plus the begining ch)

R2: ch1, hdc in each st – change yarn to yellow in last st, turn

R3: ch1, hdc in each st, turn

R4: ch1, hdc in each st – change yarn to white in last st, turn

R5: ch1, hdc in each st, turn

R6: ch1, hdc in each st, turn

R7: ch1, hdc in each st – change yarn to yellow in last st, turn

R8: ch1, hdc in each st, turn

R9: ch1, hdc in each st – change yarn to orange in last st, turn

R10: ch1, hdc in each st, turn

R11: ch1, hdc in each st, turn

R12: ch1, hdc in each st, turn

R13: ch1, hdc in each st – change yarn to yellow in last st, turn

R14: ch1, hdc in each st, turn

R15: ch1, hdc in each st – change yarn to white in last st, turn

R16: ch1, hdc in each st, turn

R17: ch1, hdc in each st, turn

R18: ch1, hdc in each st – change yarn to yellow in last st, turn

R19: ch1, hdc in each st, turn

R20: ch1, hdc in each st – change yarn to orange in last st, turn

R21: ch1, hdc in each st, turn

R22: ch1, hdc in each st – fasten off with long tail for sewing.

Now you need to sew in all those loose ends. Fold the rectangle in half and whip

stitch the two short ands together.

Bow Center

With White Ch 4

R1: Hdc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (there will be 3 hdc and

ch up will be in each row), turn

R2 - 6: Ch1, hdc in each st, turn

Fasten off with long tail for sewing.

Squish up the bow in the center. Wrap bow center around the middle of thebow and whip st the center piece together.

OR

You can take a long length of white yarn and wrap it around the middle of the

bow. Pull it tight to cinch the middle. Make it as big as you like.
