Volunteers are the heart of the Canadian Red Cross and the International Red Cross/Red

Crescent Movement.  Our good work is only made possible because thousands of volunteers willingly give their time to help vulnerable people.  We are currently seeking applicants for

various positions within our Branch Council.

Goal of Canadian red cross • The program’s goals are to:• Increase the number of reserve volunteers available in the event of a

major disaster in Canada. • It is important that the Canadian Red Cross be able to count not only

on its own volunteers.• Develop an emergency preparedness and response culture in Canada.• corporations to make a concrete commitment to
