Canada Cursive is Cool® Contest 2019 January 23rd to March 8th It’s time again to sharpen your pencils and practice your cursive handwriting. We will award winners for each grade. There are two contests in Canada – one for English entries and one for French entries! Please follow these easy steps: CONTEST RULES: Please write at least 5 sentences with a limit of one page. Grades 1 – 6: Pick one of these questions to answer. * Why is cursive cool? * Why do you like signing your name? * What benefits do you see in learning cursive? ON YOUR ENTRY please tell us on the: FRONT PAGE – age and grade. BACK PAGE – student’s name, school with contact info including email and phone number. Please indicate that we have permission to post your entry on our website. Sign your first name as well. TIP: Practice. Practice. Practice. Extra points for following directions. All entries must be POSTMARKED by: March 8th.
