WHAT SOME OF OUR PEOPLE ARE SAYING
“The Sushi Lovers course was a fun hands-on sushi making course. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to broaden their skills in the kitchen, learn a new skill or just have a fun night out for a few hours. Go to the sushi lovers course hungry!”
– Adam G.
“This course covers the basics of project management and shows how to set up a simple project with tasks, resources, a customized calendar with different customized views. The instructor covers all the training material within the manual in three evenings and is able to answer questions throughout the course. Although this course may be introduced as basic a lot is covered and it is a great refresher for someone who has knowledge of Microsoft Project.”
– Richard C.
“This class environment was open and comfortable. I felt that the learning environment was appropriate and really helped me to learn the Sign Language. I enjoyed the way the class was set up, there was enough time to really learn and practice. At the end of the course I feel as though I have learned a great deal and would be able to communicate through sign language, in a limited capacity. Overall I really enjoyed the course and would recommend it to anyone who has wanted to learn sign language.”
– Alison K.
“Our little group of misfits are now halfway through our intro Welding class and we are LOVING IT!! Tuesdays are hands down the best day of the week and the buzz back at the school the next day is always entertaining. Other staff who didn’t register ask regularly how it’s going and of course we talk it up!”
– Rhonda the Welder

WELCOME TO THE START OF AN AMAZING CAREER.Rounding out our offerings in the apprenticeships and trades are Lethbridge College's pre-employment trades training programs offered through Corporate and Continuing Education (CCE).
Trades employers are reluctant to hire employees with no experience due to the complexity and high cost of machinery and equipment. Pre-employment trades programs in Electrician, Welder and Powerline Technician provide the first year of the Alberta apprenticeship curriculum as well as various safety certificates to get you started on your path to an apprenticeship.
CCE also offers skill development courses (Power Engineering, Master Electrician, etc.), personal development courses (Basic Home Renovations, Small Engine Repair, Basic Welding, etc.), and safety certification courses.
