Purpose

This Job Aid provides you with a document that describes how to perform the task. You can print this document or save it to your local hard drive.

Procedure

1. Follow the steps below to complete the task:

The Client Search page displays.

Use the Client Search page to search for a client and view their CW Referrals. For example, you could search using a Client ID.


6. As required, complete/review the following fields: Field DescriptionClient ID

The client that matches your search criteria displays in the table.

Client details will display in tabs below the search results table, with the General tab displaying by default. By selecting a tab you can view further specific client information. For this process, you will be selecting the CW Referral/Assessment tab.

The CW Referral/Assessment tab will display a list of county referrals associated with the client, with the most recent referral at the top of the list by default. Notice the number of referrals in the list displays on the tab, in this example the number of referrals is 4.

To help mange the list of referrals, you can sort the data using the sort arrows in the column headers. For example, you might want to sort the referrals by date.

15. Referral date oldest to newest date

The data now displays based on the oldest to most recent referral date. You can click the sort arrow again to bring the most recent date back to the top of the list.

17. Expand List of Individuals Involved in Referral

You can see all individuals (clients) involved in the referral by using the expand arrow icons on the left of the referral table.

Clients associated to the referral and their respective details will display.


20. View button to select summary of closure statement.

Notice the View buttons. By clicking one of these buttons you will be able to view the narrative (from primary associated hotline) and closure summary (the comments for screened out referrals) of each referral.

22. Narrative, Allegation/Findings, Closure Summary

You can select to view the Narrative, Allegation/Findings, or Closure Summary information, for this example you want to view the narrative.

The Narrative pop-up window displays.


25. Expand control option

In this window you can review the full narrative for the associated referral. You can expand the Narrative window to read the narrative without scrolling.

The Narrative window is now in full screen, making it easier to review the full narrative. Notice the expand icon has changed to a collapse icon. Clicking the collapse icon will collapse the window.

The Narrative window reverts to the smaller size. Having reviewed the narrative you can close the window.

With the Narrative window closed, you can continue reviewing other referral details. For example, you could View the Closure Summary for the most recent referral.

The Closure Summary pop-up window displays. In this example, there is not currently a closure summary. If there were, you would review the closure summary, using the expand tool if required. Once reviewed you can close the pop-up window.

Once you have viewed the individuals involved in the referral you can collapse the list by clicking the expand arrow again.

Finally in this process, you can view the full Referral details by clicking the associated link in the Trails ID column.

You can view and edit referral details on this page. Once you have finished working with the referral you can return to your client search.


42. Process Complete

Once you have reviewed the selected client's referrals, you can review further information or move on to another task.
