I do love all animals, but I’ve always wanted a dog !

“It’s a huge responsibility to take care of a dog.”

You must FEED it

… or it will get hungry and eat all our shoes.

You must WASH it

… or it will be a dirty dog, get fleas and smell.

You must WALK it

… or it will get fat as a pig.

You must Teach it

… or it will be naughty!

You must PLAY with it

… or it will be lonely.

I can do it He can depend on me…

Because

I love him.

Son I love you and he is a very lucky dog to have you.

The lesson is… to be responsible so that others can depend on you.

This young boy wants to own a dog, but it comes with much responsibility. As the boy listens to his dad tell him the responsibilities, he understands and promises that he will take care of it.
