CAMS BeNeLux - Monthly yield in orbits

Page 5: CAMS statistics until 31 December 2015cams.seti.org/CAMS-BeNeLux-statistics.pdf · 2016. 2. 11. · CAMS statistics until 31 December 2015 Prepared by: Paul Roggemans, Carl Johannink,

Figure 2: Evolution of the performance of the CAMS@BeNeLux network, number of successful nights per month, the maximum number of operational cameras available, the average number of cameras effectively operated per night and the number of stations participating. Over the entire 4 year period orbits have been obtained during 862 different nights.

Figure 3: same as figure 2 but on annual basis with the average number of successful nights per month.

Figure 4: the accumulative number of orbits obtained by the CAMS@BeNeLux network. The current (end 2015) capacity of CAMS@BeNeLux should allow to collect ~20.000 orbits per year, weather permitting. Tabel 2: The number of orbits obtained for each calendar night accumulated for 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. End 2015 only 8 calendar nights were left without any orbits determined yet, for 111 nights 100 or more orbits are already available.
