CALIFORNIA COLLEGE STUDENTEMERGENCY SUPPORT FUND
The California College Student Emergency Support Fund has launched to give one-time $500 hardship grants to students. This program is administered by theMission Asset Fund which assresses emergency needs for low-income collegestudents, including undocumented immigrants, foster youth, and students whoare housing insecure.To be eligible, you must:
Be currently enrolled full-time (12+ units) as an undergraduate at aCalifornia Community College, California State University, or University ofCalifornia campusHave earned at least 24 semester units or 36 quarter units (i.e., oneacademic year of coursework)
Be low-income, with a maximum Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) of$5,576 (from your FAFSA or CA Dream application) or eligible for aCalifornia College Promise Grant Fee Waiver (formerly known as the BOGfee waiver)

Spartans can access Student Lingo, a series of workshops on topics such asfinancial literacy, note taking, and online learning, for free! There are 4 workshopsrelated to online learning, including an "Orientation to Online Learning" series.Any Spartan (students, parents, faculty, staff, etc.) can create a free account.Search one.sjsu.edu for "Student Lingo" to sign up and access these workshops.
