Salem State University
Public 4-year liberal arts institution located on the north shore of Massachusetts.
The university offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees to a total enrolled 9,456 undergraduate and 7,741 graduate students.
The majority of students enrolled at the campus are female students (60.9%).
The student population is diverse and includes representatives from 69 foreign countries and 29 different states.
Learning outcomes Student will be able to name key elements of the
American classroom style.
Student will identify the differences between the classroom style in their home country and the American classroom
Student will correctly identify the offices on campus, names and its functions.
Student will name faculty members/tour guides who they interacted with while taking the tour.
Student will identify countries other students are from.
Students will name peers taking the tour with them.
Student will match their peers with languages spoken in these countries of origin
