Let me introduce myself to the new skills

test warriors, I was one of the winner of

Jan 2010 at our college i.e. AU College of

Pharmaceutical Sciences, Andhra University;

by one of the esteemed MNC Dr. Reddy's

where all the final year B.Pharm and final

year M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) branch

students were called for. Around 34

B.Pharm students and 14 M. Pharm

students had taken part in it.

The day started with an introductory lecture

about Dr. Reddy's by the senior HR manager

the entire lecture focused on the key issues

of Dr. Reddy's talent acquisition pool, their

brands, economic status of the company, its

recent acquisitions etc etc...and ended with

an interactive session, were most of us

classmates came up with some interesting

questions including me.....

The entire recruitment process happened in

three stages:

1.Written test:

?It is for 100 marks of which 50 are technical

and 50 aptitude oriented questions.

?In which 34 B.Pharm students attended

and 27 were qualified, in parallel 12M.Pharm students were also qualified out of

14 members.

2.Group Discussion (GD):

?In which we were given a specific topic to

discuss among ourselves for five min in

test 2010

presence of HR people, finally each person

was given 30 sec to give a conclusion talk.

?The 27 students were divided into three

batches according to the priority of marks

scored in written test and GD had been

conducted, out of nine members in each

branch five were selected , so totally 15

were been forwarded to the final phase.

?There were no GD step for M.Pharm

students

3.Personal interview:

?It includes both technical and HR phase.

We had many common questions like:

Tell us about yourself?

What do you know about Dr. Reddy's?

What's your academic CGPA and your

position in your class?

What's your favorite subject and discuss atopic of your interest from it?

Who was your role model?

What are your future goals? etc etc.....

The result is 6 Boys from B.Pharm namely

Santosh kumar (myself), Kiran, Sandeep,

Ajay, Vijay, Md. Asif and 2 Boys fromM.Pharm namely Sailesh, Ajay (students of

Prof. J. Vijaya Ratna madam) were selected.

Six girls from B. Pharm and three girls from

M. Pharm were in the waiting list, it was said

that they will be called on when their exists

any vacancy.
