Previously served as dean of Boise State’s College of Engineering from 2003 to 2011

MS and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 1987 and 1991, respectively

Bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Valparaiso University in 1984
