NNHS hosts Science Festival: Science Fair as the main eventNarra National High School held the Science Festival inside the campus during the day of July 22, 2014. Bearing the theme: The science of today is the technology of the future, the said event is conducted annually with the science fair, quiz bee, robotic dance, jingle and vocal solo contests for the students to join.The Science Fair served as the major focus of the occasion. The Science Fair featured science investigatory projects of the students wherein contestants were classified as team or individual participant and depending on the study, Physical or Life Science. Physical Sciences were studies involving physics and manipulation of chemicals, mostly about devices and non-living things. On the other hand, Life Sciences were those concerning plants, animals and anything biological. On Life Science Individual category, Kieza Mae Pacete placed first having a study entitled The Larvicidal and Pesticidal Property of Dumbcane (Dieffenbachoa), Janine Candelaria ranking second and Pamela Mina as third. Chelsea Mae Felizarte topped the Physical Science Individual category with her research, HydroAirGenerator: Efficiency of Combined Hydro Power and Air Turbine Generator while Milkah Pagobo as second placer and Christine Joy Acosta being third. Teammates Edgardo Socrates and Kryll Christian Dominique Boni excelled on the Physical Science Team category with their study, SOPUWAFIDE: Its Efficiency in Removing Heavy Metals From Mining Areas in Narra, Palawan, surpassing Dorothy Joy Aperocho and Gabrielle Anne Nicole David as second placers while Dainty Eve Lapuz and Pranav Dole following on third place.

RESEARCHERS IN ACTION: Students in crisp, executive attires lining up in the corridors as they present and defend their studies, along with the judges.
