Welcome to Canyon Vista Medical Center, a new standard for comprehensive medical care serving Cochise County, Fort Huachuca, and the surrounding areas. Our new 100-bed, 177,000 square foot hospital has been planned, built, equipped, staffed and dedicated with a single mission in mind — to deliver exceptional healthcare by leading the way in five critical areas.

Comprehensive Medical Services. From cardiac care to orthopaedics to a 19-bed adult psychiatric unit, we have the capability and expertise to treat almost any medical condition. Canyon Vista Medical Center is Joint Commission Accredited, a Level III Trauma Center, an Arizona Cardiac Receiving Center and a Pink Ribbon Facility for Breast Health Excellence.

Advanced Medical Technology. From our Aquillon CT scanner with 128 slice reconstruction package, 3-D Mammography, and to our hi-tech nuclear medicine, the equipment and facilities at Canyon Vista Medical Center provide physicians and staff access to the latest advances in medical technology.

1 AdmissionsThere is a dedicated Hospitality Center where visitors are greeted and provided information about Canyon Vista Medical Center. A new lobby management process insures patients are guided to their desired location. Artwork by local artists and photographers decorate the hospital to create a healing environment.

2 Emergency Services

Designated as a Level III Trauma Center, we have a separate entrance and ambulance bay. Twenty-one exam rooms and 2 trauma suites provide lifesaving medical care, 24 hours a day,

seven days a week, with 24-hour physician staffing and an on-site helicopter. Equipped with a Fast Track for urgent conditions that can be treated quickly, our goal is to get patients in and out within one hour.

3 Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory Services. Outpatient Radiology Services and Walk-in Lab Services are available at the Carter Imaging Center located near the hospital at 151 Colonia de Salud. Services include: CT, X-ray, 3D Mammography, PET/CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, DEXA Scanning.

4 Surgical ServicesWe have 4 operating suites, 1 cardiac catheterization lab, 12 pre- and post-procedures rooms, 3 rooms for endoscopy, bronchoscopy, pain clinic procedures, and 7 Post Anesthesia

9 Women & Children’s Services We have a triage area where arriving mothers are assessed prior to admission, 7 labor and delivery rooms, 14 postpartum rooms where mothers stay until discharge, 8 antepartum rooms where women are observed during preterm labor or other complications, an operating room and a Level II nursery. Our spacious labor and delivery suites also feature a fold-out bed so a loved one can comfortably spend the night.
