    Giving Thanks to Campus Farmers

Traveling to college campuses this fall, I have been fortunate to meet many inspirational campus farmers

along the way. At the Colorado College Farm, students gave me a tour of the new passive solar

greenhouse, which will provide both unique learning opportunities and fresh produce on campus. Up in

Northfield, MN, students at the Carleton College Farm and the St. Olaf farm, STOGROW, organized the

2nd Northfield Farm Bike Tourthis September, which attracted more than 400 community members and

students in celebration of local food and farmers (read more below).

Everywhere I go, I continue to be energized by students and staff who are growing food and buildingcommunity on their college campuses.

Inspiration is everywhere: we just need to share our stories! We've launched the Campus FarmerConversations Webinar Series to do just that. Please read on for more information about this newresource and updates from campuses across the country.
