EcoExplorers work in pairs to ask a question about the natural world, then work with our leaders and scientists to answer their question. Participants present results to parents, Blandy staff, and other campers on the last day. Come explore our meadows, ponds, and woodlands and experience the excitement of discovery! Art in Nature And Nature in Art June 24-26, 2019 Note longer days: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. For rising 2nd-4th Graders Immerse yourself in the beauty around us as we look to the natural world for inspiration. We will create large and small works of art, make music, and explore nature through stories, games, and skits. Come develop an eye for the art in nature and bring nature into your art. Green Adventures July 8-12, 2019 9 a.m.-Noon For rising 2nd-4th Graders Are you ready to help protect Mother Earth? We’ll discover how humans affect the environment, learn how to minimize our impact, and practice earth-friendly tips and techniques. Using the six R’s—rethink, refuse, repair, reduce, reuse, and recycle—we’ll become savvy stewards of the earth while having fun in nature.
