Camping Under the Stars:

Camp KitsCAMP KIT PICK-UP: FRIDAY, JULY 24, 10AM-4PM AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER

This year the Rolling Meadows Park District is bringing the camping to you! Although we can’t host a camp out in the park that doesn’t mean the camping can’t still happen. We are

offering take-home camping kits for families that will include games, a s’mores kit and more. CODE #: 21-CAMP | FEE: $10(RESIDENTS)/$15(NON-RESIDENTS)

Dear Rolling Meadows Park District Community,

As we release our July 2020 electronic program guide, many things are different from what they were

only 4 short months ago. We have been introduced to new terms, like social distancing and remote

learning; become more familiar with technology, participating in virtual programs and meetings; and have

had the opportunity to spend quality time with family. Through it all, one thing has remained constant;

Rolling Meadows is truly a COMMUNITY in every sense of the word. On behalf of the Rolling Meadows

Park District Board of Commissioners and team members, THANK YOU for your continued support and

confidence. Like you, we at the Park District have had to make some difficult and not so fun decisions.

Please know, each of these have been carefully thought out and incorporate the Park District’s core values:

• Fun: Providing enjoyable experiences in the workplace and community.

• Accountability: High standards of performance, ethics, efficiency, and fiscal responsibility.

• Community: Aligning services and programs with needs while growing connections with

residents.• Empathy: Providing a safe, cooperative, inclusive atmosphere for all.

As we move forward, Rolling Meadows Park District is committed to the health and safety of participants,

guests and team members; while also providing opportunities for individual growth and community

connections through parks and recreation. We will continue to expand recreational programming, both

on-site and virtually; maintain our picturesque walking trails for you and your family to enjoy; and

provide new opportunities to experience the outdoors, such as our GO MEADOWS walking events.

While the entire team at the Park District looks forward to returning to normal operations, we will continue

to follow mandates and guidelines provided by the State of Illinois. As we transition through the reopening

process, we thank you in advance for your patience. All updates will be provided on our website at rmparks.

org, as well as on Facebook and Instagram. It truly remains our distinct privilege to continue to inspire our

community to live happier and healthier lives by providing exceptional opportunities to play, learn and grow.

Be safe, be well and we’re all in this together.
