We went camping on Saturday. We
roasted hot dogs over the
campfire. My brother told us ghost

Jordan Brown and the Talking Fish
One sunny afternoon Jordan Brown and his dad went fishing.
They caught six fish before sundown. As Jordan was taking his fishing
pole out of the water to leave, he felt a tug but he could not move
the pole. He yelled, “Dad, I think this is a big one!” His dad threw down
his pole and the two struggled to get it out. At the end of his pole
was an enormous catfish. The fish said, “Please, put me back into the
water.” The fish scared the two so bad that they dropped the fishing
pole and the fish jumped back into the water. They never told anyone
about this amazing fish. © RoSchell Russ 2011

Teachers,
Here is a treat for you to thank you for all of
your support in my store. Here are some free
stations that will go great with my Camping
Unit.
I put the campfire ABC order words into 2
baggies so each had 9 words. Then the
students put them in ABC order on their paper.
Fishing Dictionary Words I put the 10 words
int0 2 baggies. Then the students put them in
order in their Fishing Dictionary.
Enjoy!
