new year it is important to set goals for yourself as they help to achieve personal and
business success. However, it is crucial to set goals in every aspect
of your life to ensure you have more control over what you want to achieve and that you achieve it effectively. Your goals can be broken up into the following

By working from home, you are able to set your own hours so you can create more time for leisure activities such as spending time with your family. Evaluate how you spend your non-working hours and set goals that will make your leisure time more fulfilling.

businessYou will most likely set yourself the most goals under this category as it deals with your professional rather than your personal life. Look at what positions you would like to fill; what skills you would like to learn and what types of projects you would enjoy working on. Set goals of how many products you would like to sell and how many Consultants you need to recruit. Help your first and second Generation Consultants to introduce and develop successful Consultants, and build leaders in your team. Leadership development is critical in the success of your business. Set goals for how many managers you want in your team and the time frame you need to develop them.
financialThink about what you would like to achieve financially. Being an Annique Consultant is such a unique business opportunity as it enables you to earn additional income, minimise or avoid debt and will enable you to become financially independent and successful. Having financial stability will give you a sense of security and will enable you to set out your goals for the year. Clearly set out what you want to achieve and be realistic about whether this can be done in the long or short term.
spiritualBeing spiritual means you have a need to be part of something greater than yourself; you want to make a change in the world or have an effect on someone’s life. Setting spiritual goals will differ from person to person. Maybe you want to meditate more or get out into nature, or perhaps you want to visit a church, meeting or service. Set goals that feed your soul.
romanceA romantic relationship is one of the most important relationships you will have, so it is important to set goals to keep that flame alive. Ask yourself what type of partner you want to be and what type of life you want to live with your better half. You can sit down and put goals together with your partner on how to improve the relationship and what you want to achieve together.
Petro Venter, a leader from Port Elizabeth, says: “I give each new Consultant an envelope with a sales log form. The money from sales is then kept in the envelope and all sales are logged. All expenses are also taken down. As soon as Consultants make new orders from money earned from their First Time Kits they are given a purse so they can keep the money they earn through Annique separate from everyday expenses like bread and milk.
“We are taught that you should invest and reinvest before you can earn a salary. Use your extra commission to buy extra stock so that you can give your Customers speedy service.
“One important lesson: never give products to your Customers on credit. This will result in a cash flow problem that has a snowball effect. If you do not have cash, you cannot buy stock, which means you cannot keep your Customers happy and they will find other products and Consultants. Always keep your log book and purse with you.”
Make sure your goals are specific so you can tell whether you will be able to achieve them and how long this will take. By being specific about your goals you can then put a plan in place to achieve them. Additionally, don’t put down too many goals as you will not be able to achieve them all and will eventually get despondent. Whatever your goals are, make sure you are working towards one outcome so you know your goals are aligning and pushing you in the right direction.

Red Points are calculated on your own sales (PQV), plus the sum of Sales (PQV) Consultants in your Level 1 and
Consultants in your Level 2*.That means for every Consultant in your Level 1 and
Level 2 you as the Leader will earn Red Points. As an added bonus, you will earn an additional 200 Red Points in total if you trade in each month of the three-month
period in which the competition runs. *Please note: Consultants in your Level 1 and Level 2 have to achieve a minimum Personal Qualifying Volume (PQV)
of 2 500 every month to qualify.

How it worksAs a Consultant, you should recruit new Consultants in your first line and encourage your first line Consultants to do the same. Your PQV from 1 December to 28 February and your Level 1 and 2 Consultants’ PQVs during this time will earn you Annique Red Points (like eBucks or greenbacks!)
The total amount of Red Points you earn by 28 February 2018 will enable you to qualify for amazing, high quality Jenna Clifford jewellery and Annique products in specific Bands.
COMPETITION RULES:1. Competition Dates: 1 December 2017 – 28 February 2018.2. All registered Consultants are eligible to enter.3. A minimum of 2500 PQV is needed per month for the Sponsor to qualify and
earn points.4. For every Consultant in your Level 1 and Level 2, who achieves a minimum of

With hundreds of thousands of learners back at school, parents are reminded to restock their fridges and pantries with foods and beverages that provide brain-boosting nutrients to help their children perform at their best.
SA’s recently released National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (SANHANES) refers to the poor state of children’s school lunches in this country. Of particular concern is the high intake of sugary cool drinks – about 2 in 3 learners buy sugary drinks at least twice a week, with each soft drink containing up to 14 teaspoons of sugar. According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) that is 40g more sugar than the recommended maximum daily limit for children.
Drinking too many sugary drinks is considered to be the leading cause of obesity in adolescents, especially among schoolboys. The study points out that the prevalence of obesity has doubled in teenage boys in the past six years, making them more prone to chronic lifestyle diseases such as diabetes.
According to nutritional experts, these beverages are loaded with empty calories and provide little or no essential nutrients. They are linked not only to weight gain but also to poor health and tooth decay in children. The experts recommend water or herbal teas as a healthier alternative to fizzy drinks or sugar filled fruit juices, with Rooibos tea topping the list.
Ernest du Toit, spokesperson of the SA Rooibos Council says Rooibos is as effective as water for hydrating the body and has additional health properties that water doesn’t have.
“Rooibos is affordable, tasty and amazingly beneficial for children. It is rich in antioxidants which helps to protect healthy cells from damage caused by free radicals and can reduce the risk of a variety of diseases, including cardiovascular disease and some cancers. Rooibos also prevents DNA damage, inflammation and is helpful in combating diabetes.
“Added to this, Rooibos contains no caffeine, fats or carbohydrates, is a natural immune-booster and relieves allergy symptoms, which are common in children,” remarks du Toit.
Sugary drinks have also been found to have an adverse effect on children’s brains. A study conducted by the University of California revealed that consuming excessive quantities of sugar-sweetened drinks can have a major impact on children’s brain function and impair their ability to concentrate and learn at school.
