CALLING ALL CAMPERSTHERE’S NOTHING BETTER than spending the summer in the great outdoors – swimming, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, making music, creating art and roasting marshmallows by the fireside.

Don’t miss your chance to live, play and make new friends this summer during the programs at the beautiful YMCA Camp Willson, located just one hour northwest of Columbus.

“ My children loved all the activities and made new friends.

They came home with such enthusiasm and so many stories - songs, new games, ideas.

It was an amazing experience.” - YMCA Camp Willson parent

Health and Safety ExcellenceCamper health and safety is our first concern. A Registered Nurse is available 24 hours a day, and our staff are first aid and CPR-trained. Our camp is accredited through the American Camp Association (ACA) and the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA).

Nurturing and Caring Staff YMCA Camp Willson understands the importance of positive role models for today’s young people. Each summer 40 enthusiastic and kid-loving staff come to YMCA Camp Willson to shape lives — one Camper, one summer at a time.

Outstanding Facilities Camp is nestled among 500 acres of woods and meadows overlooking the majestic Lake Mac-O-Chee. This is a perfect backdrop for a memorable week with friends in the outdoors. Our modern facilities combined with our historic buildings provide campers with one of the premiere camp experiences in the country.

Financial Assistance Available Thanks to our generous donors, we are able to provide assistance to those in need with summer camp costs. Please visit our website for details: ymcacampwillson.org.

Camper Ages & Program While we firmly believe in younger and older children learning together, our camps are divided into different programs that help ensure your child’s experience is age appropriate.

There are four activity periods a day, and we will do our best to schedule your child for his or her top activity choices. Please note, it is sometimes difficult to do so because of enrollment limitations. For this reason, we encourage Campers to try new things and enjoy their experiences.

We believe our schedules give Campers a variety of avenues to make new friends and learn from a diverse group of peers.
